Pre Purchase Inspection
If you are looking into purchasing a classic car for the first time or you are not sure what to look for or what are the likely known problem areas that you need to be inspecting it is a good idea to get someone that does pre-purchase inspections or someone who has good knowledge of that particular vehicle to do a pre-purchase inspection for you. So when you get the car of your dreams you do not find out later that under that nice shiny paint it is hiding a true mess that will cost you a lot of money to get fix right!
Like they say “Let the buyer beware” in some cases it is so true!

Don’t get taken
Just had a customer stop by all disappointed with work done to his 70 Mustang . It had been in a shop for two years and still was not a rolling car. New parts were missing and he wanted me to look at what was done to the car. I looked over the car, found a lot of shoddy work that they had done! They put on a set of Shelby traction bars and instead of welding them to the frame they had used liquid nails and glued them to the frame. The center link was installed upside down and there was more … it makes me mad to see someone get taken like that.
Maine Mustang Club & Registry
Is there a need for a Mustang Club in Maine or a Maine Mustang registry? I would like to think so. If there was one, then we could work together sharing info and helping each other out, and make sure some of the new owners don’t make some of the same mistakes we did while working on there cars. I would like to hear some opinions about this! Let me know if you would join the Maine Mustang Club or sign up for a Maine Mustang Registry.
